A league for adult riders who want to compete and learn in a supportive environment.
Welcome to NCAEL
NCAEL provides an opportunity for adult riders to be a viable part of a team, promotes the art of equitation, and fosters competition and camaraderie. Good sportsmanship in a healthy atmosphere are emphasized.
NCAEL by the Numbers
Team Requirements:
Access to 1 indoor ring (this league runs October through March!)
Use of 10 - 12 serviceably sound and safe school horses for their hosted home show who are comfortable with a variety of riders.
A roster of up to 18 adult riders in designated divisions (must be age 21+ prior to first competition).
Divisions cater to adults new to showing with walk trot classes all the way through riders confident piloting a 2’3” course. Teams ride for cumulative points, and riders for individual points throughout the season.
Participants:
4 regular meets per season:
3 away shows, 1 hosted home show
We know adults have busy schedules and have designed the league to be a fun outing that does not consume riders' schedules with all-day competition. Meets typically take place on Sundays, 11am-2pm.
1 Finale held at Frying Pan Farm Park, VA.
1 Season Awards Banquet & Party
Infinite memories and fun!
